ESYC Hosts Fall Season Skills & Drills Clinic

The 2012 ESYC Skills & Drills kicked off on September 11 with Scott Coval, Head Coach of the DeSales University Men’s Basketball team, Assistant DeSales Coach Harry Morra,  and the DeSales Basketball Team! Youth ballers were both challenged and inspired as they competed against, played with, and were coached by this DeSales Basketball team.   Said Coach Morra, “We hoped the kids took something away from it… Everyone was really impressed with the programming ESYC is providing.”

On Sept 15, renowned Coach Doug Snyder of the Allen HS Basketball team (also featured in our “How Bad Do You Want It video”) led 5th Grade thru 12th Grade ballers thru game-time scenarios & strategies — for the ultimate game IQ advancement. These ballers will not be the same!

Overall, the youth from various Lehigh Valley teams are having a “ball” — no pun intended — and our older ballers get the opportunity to network with, and “strut their stuff” in the presence of HS & College Coaches and Players.    PRICELESS.

This year’s sessions will also feature Muhlenberg College (Sept 22), LCCC Basketball Coaches — Mike Irio & Thor Schaffer — Andy Stephens, Head Coach for Parkland HS Basketball, and the ESYC Elite Coach Staff. YOU … DON’T … WANT TO MISS THIS!!!

DROP-INS WELCOME!!! Get your winter basketball game in gear! Sign-ups are ongoing now for our Fall Skills & Drills Clinic. You can signup online, or signup in person at the ESYC on Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:30pm – 7:30pm. East Side Youth Center (ESYC) welcomes ALL teams, boys and girls grades 3-12.
